Technical Questions
Q: Who are you?
A: I'm Dave.
Q: Ok, how about a little more information?
A: Oh, sorry. Well I live in upstate New York, and have wanted to start an
internet broadcast for a while now. Its finally here, and I'm having a lot
of fun doing it.
Q: What is this show about?
A: This show is about anything you want it to be. It's mostly used as a forum for
me to get things off my chest. I give observations about things that piss me off either in my own life, or people in the news.
It is just a place to vent. To complain. To let it out. We invite all our listeners to give us their stories or ideas too. It can be
as simple as a rude clerk, bad driver, friend who pissed you off, or world events. Tell us. Really. Tell us. I also mix it up
a little bit and may just talk about some things I found interesting or funny that day.
Q: Who is that other guy on the show?
A: That's Josh. Josh and I have known each other for over 18 years now and grew
up on the same street. Josh will be on as many shows as he possibly can, but he
is a very busy man, because he's better than us.
Q: How often do new episodes come out?
A: Right now we don't have a set schedule, but I will be coming out with one soon.
Until then, you can be sure to catch all new episodes by subscribing to our feed. See our Listening FAQ.
Q: How can I listen to the show?
A: Woah, there are a lot of ways to do that. You can listen LIVE every Wednesday night at 10PM EST
on either Live365.com, or NextGen570.com.
Our Live365 channel repeats the show 24 hours a day when a live show isn't on. The other way is to go to our Download Page
and download the show you want. Our topics for each show can be found on our Show Notes Page.
Q: Is there a way to subscribe so my computer automatically downloads new episodes?
A: Yes. You can also subscribe to our show by using iTunes, My AOL, My Yahoo, or any RSS feed reader. If you use any of these
methods, you will always get our latest episode without any effort! (Well, just a little effort).
Q: I am familiar with RSS feeds and want to subscribe. Where is your feed?
A: Just click the little blue RSS icon in the left hand column. There it is.
Q: iTunes? You sell the show?
A: NO! Our show is completely free on iTunes. You may have to sign up if you don't have an iTunes account, but any
credit card or payment information will not be used. It even says "Free" next to our list of shows.
Q: When I go to your Download Page and click download, the show starts playing in media player. I want to save
it on my computer. How do I do that?
A: No problem. Just right-click and choose "Save target as..." You can then save it to your hard drive.
Q: I want to tell you how awesome you are. How do I do that?
A: Thanks! Actually, I want to hear from all of you, no matter what you think.
After all, that's why the show is here. To vent. To let it out. It's our slogan.
Back to your question, to tell us what you think, you can call us at (518) 362-4753, e-mail us, or use Skype to
text message or leave voicemail. Our Skype user name is AngryRadio. You can also just click
our Skype Status icon you see on each page. Our Contact Page has all
the info you'll need.
Q: Skype? What is that?
A: Skype is a FREE messenger program that lets you talk by voice (telephone qualtiy) or
text message like any other instant messenger program. You can download it at www.Skype.com.
You can use it to call us by voice and leave a voicemail that may be played on the show, or simply type your message in the box.
Q: I called your phone number, (518)362-4753, but I keep getting voicemail. Do you guys ever answer the damn phone?
A: If we are not doing a live show at that moment, we might not answer. The number is available when the show is off the air for
you to leave a message about what is bothering you, or let us know what you want to talk about. If you want to talk live on the air, just leave that in your
message, and we'll get back to you. Really.
Q: Your Skype status says "Away", "Not available", etc. Can I still leave a message?
A: Yes! Our message software is always running. The only time you would not be able to contact us is if our status is
"Offline."
Q: How else can I comment on the show or give you show ideas?
A: Go to our message boards. Signing up only takes a few seconds. Then you can vent all day long.
Q: Are you going to give my information out on the air?
A: No, we're not assholes. Well, we are, but not that bad. I've seen some websites, message boards, etc. where
the owner will put someones real name, IP address , and other infomation in the public view just for disagreeing with them.
We will not do that if you disagree with us, but we may call you a name or two. Seriously, the only information we would give out
on the air is your first name and where you are calling or writing from.
Q: What is this error Skype is giving me?
A: Easy fix. See our Tech FAQ.
Q: You guys suck.
A: That's not a question. But feel free to tell us about it.
Q: When I click your Skype status icon, I get an error that says "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window" Whats wrong?
A: I get that error every so often too. It is not an error with our website. It seems to happen when you don't already have
Skype open when you click our icon to chat. To get around that, just open Skype manually, and it will call us like normal.
Q: What format is your show recorded in?
A: Our show is recorded in .mp3 format.
